I do not even compare to any of this. I am more of a writer then an artist.

Chris will like this. This actually happened in a role playing game many years ago when we were all playing these games as youngins.
Needless to say, there was a seventy-some year old man that was crapping his depends and fighting for his life with the help of some other B-list heroes.

Like Chris, I have a bizarre interest to the Earth 2 Robin. I think there is something cool about an adult Robin who served as a super hero side kick in WWII and is now a full grown adult trying to replace the original Golden Age Batman. This is my work, some creep actually lifted this from me and used in on a comicboard. I guess I should be honored.

I don't consider myself an artist. I am more of a copy cat. I can look at a drawing of a character and use what I see and relay it to a piece of paper without tracing it. I do that a lot when I am making bodies for a lot of my characters I have designed over the years.

After seeing "Frozone" pop up with a very similar look to a character I called "Iceblaster" I decided to pull off all my creations and get them "insured". I am sure it was nothing but a coincidence but my brother says he thinks different. LOL

I know this isn't Batman but the majority of these characters are in a series type book I have been logging for years called "The Crusaders" and sharing with a handful of people. Though, nothing will ever come out of it. I have been pushing the series on some editors and publishers to look at...

Robert Deniro inspired this characters looks....

          My Haley Berry inspired character...

and of course my famous one, The WRATHDEMON...

I did this parody cover for one of my issues. Can anyone guess where I lifted this idea from?

WOW. . . this place is brimming over with super talented people. . .Wrathdemon. . . you are talented in so many different ways. . .that is quite a body of impressive work there.

BUT. . . .T1K Mikey WINS I am afraid. . . .in a modern/contemporary art way anyway. . . .since it looks the least li the actual subject matter, and could have been done by a 3 year old. . . it therefore has the greatest modern art appeal!

            I LOVE IT MIKEY!!!!!!!!

And the orignal cover. I wanted to add this as some may think I traced the cover. I did not. Jim Aparo did it much better than I ever could.

Dude, I know how you feel. I am always looking at artist's work for inspiration. I can look at a cartoon drawing and then draw it on paper. I have been doing it since I was six. Most people think I stole the bodies or traced it.
For the life of me, I cannot draw a character such as a human body to save my life without any reference.
Your work reminds me a lot of my work. I bet if you had some cool photo programs on the computer you could really color those up and make them look neat.
It is easy. When I draw something good with pencil. I scan the picture then I enhance the contrast turning the pencil to black and the white becomes really white. Then I save it as a Bitmap and drag it into photoshop where I can add color or backgrounds.
I have always sucked coloring things and I came up with this idea years ago. I could do something really cool with your pictures but I wouldn't do it without your permission.

                  Hey Wrathdemon.

Actually, 99.99% of my drawings are strictly out of my warped little mind.

The Batman swinging image is all mine. I have 1000000s of pictures I drew around the house and Testimony of the Riddler is the ONLY comic cover I deliberately tried to draw my version of. Most of that is by memory but I got stuck and printed out the same pic I posted of the cover to have a look at the original to finish it up.

I'd love to draw a pic of Wrathdemon for you. That would be fun.

I actually use Photoshop and Illustrator every day at work but I was trying my hand at leaving my drawings uninked when I did these. I have hundreds of other drawings laying around that I've scanned and colored or before I got this computer, colored with PrismaColor color pencils.

                  I'll email you a few.

Here is my version of the classic Infantino Batman Drawing done with Adam West and Burt Ward 11x17 on Bristol Board ....sorry my scanner is too small to get the whole image in so i scanned it in parts......I seriously need to invest in a larger one.

Dude, that Adam and Burt Infantino pin-up tribute is beyond amazing.

I want that on my wall so bad!!!!

Now I see how inadequate my own Infantino pin-up tribute really is.

i met Infantino in March, i had him do aquick Robin sketch in his book, i felt guilty cause his handler seemed to be taking advantage of him,
he claimed due to artheritis he could only do heads sketches, but in between he'd sign autographs. Infantino forgot what Robin looked like and had to be reminded, i think he needs to retire from shows

I am a little late to this thread. Some great artwork in here.

I knew I had a Batman sketch in one of my sketchbooks and here he is.
