          I just want to chime in here that in the movie as in the comics, Joker gives varying accounts of his origin. The justly famous graphic novel The Killing Joke represents one very convincing, very real-seeming backstory for Mr. J. But the truth is that according to DC canon, that is only one of many possible origin stories, conveyed at different times to different people, just as we see in the movie.

          Now back to the Bat-bashing.

            At my job I'm hearing alot of "This is the best Batman movie ever made! The old Batman movies suck! They are horrible!" Funny thing is, back when the old Batman movies were new, the same people were saying "This is the best Batman movie ever made!"

            I haven't seen the new film yet, but I hear about Batman every day. I never tire of Batman though.
