I'm getting to the point where i'm sick of even hearing his name ......

Who else here --- doesn't hate Batman, but if you never read, seen or heard anything about him for the next 20 years, you wouldn't complain ?

I like Batman as a team player of the JLA. Recently, a lot of the stuff they have him doing in books he would have to be super human.
I don't read solo Batman anymore.

"one up" on my favorite---- Superman---in real life---and in media.

The newest movies are better than the franchise started by Burton, but I've yet to see a Batman film that lived up to my hopes.

Just be glad that we're not living in 1966-style full-on Batmania!

For instance when Hal Jordan jacked Batman and knocked him on his ***. Some writer got ****ed off and when it was his turn to write the story, he had Batman "get even with Hal" by jacking him in the face.

In truth, Hal would stuff Batman head first in a green mail book and leave his *** hanging out so he could kick it over and over.

The movie is expected to cross $300 million after tomorrow night. You might want to ask those ticket buyers what they think. As far as hype, what I AM sick of is this insane fight for the less-than-okay six inch Joker figure Mattel put out. A new $10 figure consistantly selling for $30 - $60 on Ebay? Now THAT is nonsense. I got the 13 inch DC Direct Joker (before the movie opened) which IS limited edition and one worth much more than the hype surrounding this six inch piece of...eh...poorly concieved plastic.
