Two of my earliest toy memories were of Zeroids from Ideal and these little Astronauts. I was too young to fully appreciate the Zeroids, but I just loved the Astronauts with their removable gear and helmets.

I have a real love for the original 1979 Alien movie, and the items that came out during that time.

Here's two item... The Thinking Cap Company hat was a mail in item, you'd see these advertisements in magazines like Starlog back in the day.

The egg puzzle was by HG Toys, I don't have a loose one, but the packaging I thought was cool on these.

Going back to the Green Lantern TAS lost toys:

Since my Sister-in-law is from the Philippian, my brother had the in-laws get the Jollibee's kids meal Green Lantern TAS figure for my Christmas present.

Captain Radar Self Walking Space Man

Found this guy at a little Collectibles Shop in Burbank. Bought him thinking it was a Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon toy. I found a pic of the instructions on the back of the Header Card. Think it's from the 50's. He's supposed to be tethered to a weight, which is missing on mine.

I got this figure in a trade in 1985; I didn't know it was a Mego! My mind was racing as to the other Mego figures that could be out there, and well, here we are.

Lanard Alien set

In 2020 Lanard released several Xenomorphs (Aliens) but the best one was the Movie trilogy Walmart Super Set that sold for $20. Still cannot believe you got 3 xenomorphs, 3 space marines, and weapons plus a great box art.

I grew up playing with those early knock-off G.I. Joes because at K-Mart those were cheaper and offered a collection of weapons. So having Lanard keep up the tradition was fun, but when they started to get movie licenses that really stepped up their game. It nice to see the Target endcap with Lanard figures. Not sure what happened to Wal-Mart figures.

Takatoku Dangororin from the Time Bokan series that ran from 10/4/75 - 12/25/76.

's me some Japanese Diecast.

The Dangororin is a red Pill Bug (Roly Poly)-like car that can curl up into a ball and roll through obstacles, has wheels with incredible traction that enable it to travel on any surface, and a drill on the front that can pierce through metal.
