    Red Lantern Zilius Zox

I like this idea. One of my favorite figure I have is (as far as I know) the only one that made it of China. Back when the Green Lantern TAS was on, there were talks of action figures getting made. Due to horrible feedback of the movie and action figures (they ended up at Dollar Tree) the animated lineup got cancelled. I was really involved in the JLU figures so I was looking on Ebay for JLU prototypes and happened to find Green Lantern TAS figures. I was lucky and was the only person to bid on Red Lantern Zilius Zox and was happy that he fit in with the JLU figures. One of these days I want to scan him with the 3D scanner/printer mainly so I can have an extra to paint.

Right now Zox is not at my house but is locked away in a secure place along with a few of my ultra rare figures.

So very cool, Danny. I started collecting in the mid 90's. This Mego Spidey from a Toyrific Toy Show at the Pasadena Convention Center got the madness started.

I've shared these before but I love Battle of the Planets, G-Force, AKA Gatchaman. I used to run home from school to watch the show! I'd probably drive fast from work right now if I knew it would be on honestly.

The God Phoenix pictured is the Unifive version, and it is all kinds of awesome. Landing gear deploys, all of the little ships come out, you can move the wings etc etc... I owned this one for quite a while, but still keep an eBay search saved in case a cheap one shows up as I'd happily buy another one, it's that cool!

The other two are 7-Zark-7 and 1-Rover-1. These say copywrite Sandy Frank 1979, so I have to assume that's when they were released, and it appears France might be the only area they were released since the boxes have all sorts of French writing on them.

Both have magnets in them so you can push and pull them around, 1-Rover-1 has one in his head and you can make his mouth open and close with the magnet. Cool but weird...

                    SeaQuest DSV Dr. Rubin Zellar

                    Dr Zeller 1a.jpgDr Zeller 1b.jpg

The SeaQuest DSV series meant more to me than I let on. The action figures were released by Playmates (Star Trek) and were done like they were an extension of the ST lineup (same size and build). This made it great for making customs (need to retake that images). The spotlighting figure comes from episode 4 Games:

Mass murderer Dr. Rubin Zellar (Alan Scarfe) is unwittingly taken aboard the seaQuest. Placing him in custody, Zellar is able to escape and informs Bridger that he's hidden a toxin frozen in ice somewhere aboard the ship... a toxin that is surely melting with each passing second.
What is really freaky is this kids toy came with a cryochamber with what looks likes a person inside. This was in 1993.

For my 10th birthday I got these two iconic figures out of the Kenner 12" Star Wars line. Darth Vader and Boba Fett.

Both of these are all original and have all of their accessories. I picked up vintage boxes for them later in my collecting career. I ended up getting all of the 12" line boxed later in life(including IG88) but sold all of them but these two that I had since new. I picked up a loose C3PO and R2D2 and loosed complete IG88 which I still have as well.

Honestly Kenner killed it with this figure line, they were very nice and good selection of figures.

Nice! Kenner really had awesome box art. It really pops. Modern Star Wars packaging has never topped it.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

LJN Thundercats Astral Moat Monster from 1985 for #ToyVember.

                            ljnmoat.JPG

Maybe kind of an odd choice for a figure since it was only in one episode. It was kind of an evil frog/duck thing that lived in the Astral plane. The Moat Monster was an oversized figure that had no action feature unlike the majority of Thundercats figures and toys. Made out of soft Rotocast vinyl except for his wings and feet which were hard plastic.

The Spectra dolls were a line of alien fashion dolls created by Mattel which I think were aimed to compete with the more colorful Jem dolls. Super articulated dolls for the time. The bodies were also all done in different beautiful colored chromes. Sadly, I don't have the shoes anymore they shrunk and cracked apart with age.

Thanks for posting that-I've seen the type of outfit your ape is wearing on the packaging of the Action Apeman, but this is the first time I ever seen an actual (physical) example. Very cool.
