I won't even rent it if it comes out on DVD. I'll wait until it show up on Starz or HBO to watch it. That way if it stinks too much,I can change the channel.

I'm sure Lifetime will be showing it non-stop in a few months, especially if they tack on a subplot about a bad relationship with an abusive drunk/dope fiend/Satanist

Stupid idea or brilliant counter-marketing going up against "The Dark Knight"?

This is the lowest form of entertainment life... a jukebox musical turned movie...

I don't like musicals... there are exceptions like West Side Story, 3-Penny Opera, Rocky Horror, and Blues Bros. ... but I can't get anywhere near this Mama Mia stuff!

Not going, and poking my eyes out if I see one bit of it.

I love my girl friend. She is dying to see Dark Knight and NOT mamma mia. I would rather have scalding water poured over my head with a bad sunburn.

OK, confession time... I saw Mamma Mia and I loved it . I also saw Dark Knight later the same night and loved it too. Call me a freak if you must but I love both action and musical movies. I've always been all over the map (I have been an ABBA fan for years but also am a fan of very heavy metal and country) JOHN

I got free passes to the sneak preview of Mamma Mia and got out of the theatre at about 10:15. As we are leaving, my best friend and I saw the line forming for the midnight premier of Dark Knight and decided right there to send the wives home and get in line JOHN
