well, without reading all the pages of this post...I have showed it at the theater three times thus far. Each show has been a sell-out and people sat nearly an hour just to get the good seats.
But...it is waaay weird seeing Pierce Brosnan (spell?) do Braodway style singing....does not work.

I noticed this same reaction towards Sex in the City when it was coming out as a feature film. I have no plans to see either but it seems some films geared towards women are too much for male audiences to take.
