I just rented 10,000 BC...and oh boy...

Horrible and ********.

Now I can appreciate a movie like Apocalypto...a classic compared to this mess.

First of all, mammoths were no bigger than modern elephants, yet these CGI pachyderms were twice as large, lol. Another thing that bothered me about those mammoths, instead of running like pachyderms do (meaning they never leave all their feet in the air at the same time), they were galloping like horses, lol. Bloody Roland Emmerich is one big ******, I hate his worthless guts. I also hated all this PC crap. You had humans of all races gathered together in harmony, come on, give me a break. And was it just me, or was the leading girl just too makeup pretty? And that coming back from the dead...well...I'll just live it at that. Pyramids, the use of steel, domesticated mammoths, the whole thing in 10,000 BC is just imbecilic. Oh, and I was not aware that English was that ancient of a language, lol.

Oh, and aside from all that...the flick was just a massive bore.

I saw the previews and I thought it looked cool, but everybody panned it. Now I won't even rent it after seeing your post, Hector.

I did finally watch Apocalypto, though, and I LOVED THAT!! (even though it's so historically inaccurate. In fact, I could probably see it again and still like it.

thank goodness that other people dont like it either. i couldnt get past the english speaking cavemen....ummmm..yea...english....we watched about 30 minutes of it(right after the first big mammoth "chase")...and couldnt bare to watch more of it..ugh...
as for apoclo..whatever....that movie was really too violent/whooo...for me...maybe im just getting too old for stuff like that..lol...
