we have 3 different ones locally. when my kids were little we went every weekend. even if we had already seen the movie. haven't gone in a few years now. it's just easier to watch at home, lol

they have been showing old movies so far this season. Empire Strikes back played recently, and Jurassic Park

Loved Drive-Ins --- especially the food

My local ones were --- Ledgewood Drive-in (Ledgewood NJ) -- Newton Drive-in (Newton NJ) -- Blue Ridge Drive-in (Saylorsburg PA)

    Loved them all !!!

Went to our local drive-in regularly during the late 70s and early 80s.
Some of the movies I remember seeing there are:
Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger, Jaws & Jaws 2 double bill, Orca, Smokey and the Bandit, Flash Gordon, Battlestar Galactica.
    Loved every visit there.

Kingman Drive-In baby - sometimes legally, sometimes not. Last one I remember seeing there is Young Frankenstein.

It was in bike distance from my house, and I would ride there early mornings and collect aluminum cans for at least a couple of years before that got old.

Did you ever go to a Drive In movie?

By the time I was 10 or 11, the Roosevelt Drive In had been transformed into a 3-day/week flea market. Before that, though, I remember piling into whatever crappy third-hand car we had and catching a movie at the Roosevelt Drive In. My mom would outfit us in pajamas and pillows because my sister and I would usually fall asleep while my brother always stayed awake. We may have moved all around the Philly area, but the Roosevelt was the Drive In we went to.
