Most underapprecaited television show in the history of...telvision shows

    The Pretender/1996-2000

I ate this stuff up and loved it almost as DS9. The variations of the character and his adaptive ability allowed the show to go in so many directions. The pacing was fantastic and had recurring themes throughout the entire run. I really need to buy the box set and binge this again. This is a top five alltime TV show for me.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I think I might have watched one episode. Maybe I should try it again...

        Shows in general? The Shield.

Still the greatest cop/crime series, start to finish.

        Genre shows?

I loved that show. I came upon it after it had been on for a couple years and then it was gone.

The Adventures of Pete and Pete ('92-'96)

This Nickelodeon show was aimed at kids but, in the tradition of the great kids' TV shows, there was so many inside jokes and overall weirdness/silliness that it appealed to all audiences. The show had so many elements that were just... askew- Little Pete having a tattoo, his best friend being a super hero, Nona Mecklenberg's unnecessary cast. My favorite episode is between the one where Little Pete covered himself in floor wax to luge through the school halls or the one where Inspector 34 comes from the underwear factory to teach perfection.
                WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

Due to the various Star Trek series over the years and even Battlestar Galactica, The Expanse, and the recent Lost in Space, these get a bit overshadowed: Farscape, Firefly, Babylon 5, and Earth 2.

                      Chris Farley’s “Get a Life”

Not necessarily my favorite show... but definitely one that I loved where most people don’t even know what I’m talking about

I have a really crappy bootleg series set of Friday the 13th. Doesn't get much love AFAIK.

I don't know if these were the 'Most Underappreciated' Shows...but I was definitely upset when they were cancelled:

                              - Masquerade (1983)
                              - The Insiders (1985)
                              - Profit (1996)
                              - Kindred: The Embraced (1996)
                              - Freaks and Geeks (1999)
                              - Firefly (2002)
                              - Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008)
                              - Dollhouse (2009)

                              ...I know I'm missing a few too :(
