^--- yep, Brigantine commercials played on the NYC stations too … I remember them well

There was another Jersey Shore spook house that had TV commercials too (I forgot the name)

Aaahhhh, Carvel's! They ran those ads down in Philly, too.

I wonder if this memorable ad ran up in New York since the place was on the Jersey Shore. I think it ran a lot in my late 70's/early 80's TV watching days-

    Go see Cal!

This old F*****, when I was living in LA, I would see his commercials late at night and when I would drive the 405 down to Huntington Beach I would see the dealership from the freeway!! Always wanted to GO SEE CAL, but was worried he would see me a LEMON!

I am so sure that he was a HUGE INFLUENCE on CHOPPER and his late night INFOMERCIALS in Las Vegas and how he ended up doing KING OF CARS on A&E!!

I think either Mountain or Leslie West's band played there too and there is a boot from there also!!!

To this day, a friend and I still quote parts of those commercials in Tom Carvel's voice. Sadly though, I've never eaten a Fudgie the Whale.

My mom used to always laugh when Carvel said, "thinnie-thin, for your fattie-fat friend"

I loved that guy. He was the Knievel of Car Salesmen. His "dog" Spot was always some exotic animal.
