Anyone drive a scooter?

I'm considering buying a 125 or a 150 Scooter for my daily commute, just wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

This is the Buddy 125 I am considering. With this I would average 90+ miles to the gallon verses the 14 mpg I'm getting now.

I was thinking about getting one, too, and have been for years. That's the model I was looking at, too. I'm just paranoid about being hit.

More people seem to be driving them with the gas prices being where they are.

I used to have one when my car broke down a few years back, it was fantastic on gas mileage, I was still using it when I got my car back but winter came and that was a different story. Go ahead and get it.

The Buddy doesn't sound too shabby. Stay away from the cheap Chinese or Korean bikes. The price tag on the Buddy is getting close to some 250cc motorcycles, you can get a used Rebel for $1500-$2000.
Whatever you pick it's better than another car, and more fun too. My "scoot" is a little larger, but loads of fun.

get one of those mini mini motor cycles...like dane cook used in employee of the month...that would be too funny to see someone driving one of those down the sidewalk or road everyday....someone might find pity on ya and carpool with ya instead..lol....
