Anyone drive a scooter?

Like rche said, go take the safety course no matter what you decide. You may think you know how to handle even a small bike, but the training will show you all the things you don't know.

Bill, I love the Triumph. Any complaints with it?

I myself am on a Sportster at the moment. Not too big, loud enought to stay noticed and good on gas.

I have the scooter training manual with all the drills in it. Before I even think of taking a scoot on the road I'm gonna do alot of parking lot practice just to get my riding skills back up to par.

Glad to hear you have taken AMA 1. I would now suggest the level 2 course. You bring your own ride to that one and get advanced handling techniques on the very *** that will bear you. That is after you pick up whatever it is you decide to ride. I would still suggest the rebel. Your wife can ride a bike and she will have a little more goose if'n she needs it as well.

Whatever I get I will probably take that 2nd class, just to get more confidence on my ride. They offer the advanced class for Motorcycles and scoots, here in Nashville
