I HATE modern rap music but do love old school stuff. The beastie boys, 3ed base,LL Cool J top my list. Anyone else like old rap??

But there is a TON of good modern hip-hop... not mainstream stuff mind you, mainstream hip-hop is a terrible, terrible...terrible, state of affairs.

I can handle some of it.

Most of the older bands have been mentioned....I remember liking Grandmaster Flash "White Lines" but you could never find the single anywhere.

My kids don't listen to much rap but my daughter likes the song Pop, Lock, and Drop it
