I love seeing good numbers! I almost always show elevated BP when I visit my doc, 150/100 or so, but last week I was 112/74 - so I must be doing something right.
Happy for your health, Hec.

Just walk a little, take 20 minute strolls around the neighborhood...you’d be amazed at the results.
I also make a rule not to eat after 6pm (except air popped popcorn, I much on that while watching a late night flick)...except on my free day of course...
Thank for the kind words.Leave a comment:

Nicely done! How are blood sugar numbers? Dropping as well?
Quite the inspiration. Cheers!Leave a comment:

Great numbers Hec! My dad (77 years old) started walking everyday a couple years ago, and he's so stubborn he's kept with it, even in Canadian winters. It's done wonders for his weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. The dude had two heart attacks in his 40's, was diagnosed with liver cancer about 15 years ago and has almost beaten it (just a couple small spots at this point) but it seems like he'll live forever, daily walking has a huge impact!Leave a comment:

Oh, Still love to eat good, but I choose my spots. When I’m not walking, I try not to go over 1500 calories per day. When I walk, I can go to 2000 calories. And when I super walk, meaning 8 miles in one day, I’ll go 3000 calories.
I eat lots of veggies, chicken, lean meat, protein shake, nuts and grains, eggs, fruits, and drink lots of water.
But I do have a free day once a week, usually Saturday or Sunday, where I’ll eat anything, burgers, pizza, burritos, thick ribeye steaks, Americanized Chinese food, fried chicken, ice cream, beer, sodas, all that evil stuff, lol.
I’m still big and husky. I do lift weights too. My objective is not to be thin, just healthy.Leave a comment:
