This Pronghorn antelope gave birth to twins in my back yard today. In a short amount of time they were all cleaned up and running about like nothing.

I wasn't close enough to smell them. I think usually, baby mammals don't have much smell because it would attract predators. These guys were at least 100-150 feet away, on the hillside. They are about the size of a small white tail deer or mule deer, not particularly large.



, but I guess you see so much of them they become ho hum. Animals around here are kinda boring IMHO, deer, horses, foxes, coyotes, rabbits, blue jays, Once you go more north you might see Lynx etc. But I did see a JACKALOPE in my backyard having babies once, too bad my camera wasn't working and couldn't get a picture to show you.
