i agree...what they heck....john l. as clown? martin sheen as jason wynn? what the heck? if nothing else, it gave them all some work..for their dead careers at the time....i think that mcfarlane jumped on the movie wagon, a little too soon and made some really bad choices with that movie...love the guys art, but that movie sucked....and the hbo toon as pretty good...Leave a comment:

the guy who played rhodes in iron man was great...maybe not as "Tough" as he appears in the comics, but maybe they will work on that in the sequel. for the most part, i think that iron man was one of the better comic movies that was really close to the comic...you know? i mean think of how much they changed all the other flicks out there...spiderman(green goblin wasnt spideys first bad guy or take your pic on any of the other two spidey flicks)....xmen(too many changes to name..lol)....the first hulk(all is being fixed with the second one, maybe)....think about it...with so much technology and different actors out there, a huge variety of resources that movie makers can use nowadays, why do they change things around like that? i dont have anything against any actor based on their skin color, it's just like i said before, or what others are saying, it's a weird factor...
i think that this is a great topic to think about..it's not a race/political thing, it's a movie studio screwing with 30+ years of continuity...lol....*******s!!Leave a comment:

Cuba would have been much better as terry, sweeny didn't work.

on another note, i dont mind having black actors or anything like that..it's just weird to see one thing for 30 years(white kingpin) and then all of a sudden, make him black, red, green or whatever...it's weird to think that when DD came out, cuba gooding jr. complained that they wouldnt let him try out for the role of DD, cuz he was "black" but they went with a black kingpin, go figure. however, it is one of the few ben affleck movies that i can watch, even tho' BA is in it...lol....
I think that jackson will make a great fury for any other future avengers flick...still kinda weird that they want to mix in the two different "universes", i guess...i dont know why they want to do that, pick one or the other marvel, we all ready had the ultimates in their own animated flicks, leave the live action stuff for the real marvel characters....or make another ultimate flick that is live action, whos with me on that? maybe they got burned with david hassle-what's his name, playing fury once, that they wanted to go a whole other direction?? lol...

I like him as Nick Fury I think he can pull it off.
In most rolls skin color dosn't matter as long as it's a good actor for the role.

I HATE, that they're gonna go with Ultimate Nick Fury in the new Marvel Movies!
Since the Cap Movie is going to be set entirely in WW2...I was hoping to see the "REAL" Nick Fury make an appearence!
Nothing against Jackson...I like Him...but He's NOT Nick Fury!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't mind Sam as Nick Fury,.. He's a Great Actor,.. & as far as the Ultimate Version of Nick Fury Being Black,.. that really doesn't bother me either. I liked the toons,... & probably have read far too much Ultimate Comics,.. to have an issue with it.
... I didn't care for Dunken (sp) as The KingPin though.
