What do you guys think about Sam getting involved on superhero movies... he wanted to be a Jedi and he did and now.... i really liked him on Unbreakable (not superhero but related)...

I love Jackson,but for Fury? not so much.I think he would make any movie he's in better....but Man Fury? well let me not talk crap,cause I didn't think he was going to be as cool as he was as a Jedi

I think he would be a good Nick Fury. The purist in me still would like to see a white guy like the original comic but Jackson is Bad A ## enough to pull it off.


His Mace Windu character was great in star wars. It wasnt just a fluff cameo "hey George put me in somewhere" role.

I HATE, that they're gonna go with Ultimate Nick Fury in the new Marvel Movies! Since the Cap Movie is going to be set entirely in WW2...I was hoping to see the "REAL" Nick Fury make an appearence!

I don't mind Sam as Nick Fury,.. He's a Great Actor,.. & as far as the Ultimate Version of Nick Fury Being Black,.. that really doesn't bother me either. I liked the toons,... & probably have read far too much Ultimate Comics,.. to have an issue with it.

... I didn't care for Dunken (sp) as The KingPin though.
... I also didn't care for Terry being white in the Spawn Movie,.. after reading 80+ issues of Spawn,.. & the character was Black in the books.

I like him as Nick Fury I think he can pull it off.
In most rolls skin color dosn't matter as long as it's a good actor for the role.
Will Smith in Wild WIld West didn't work. Althow he's a good actor a black man in the late 1800's wouln't have been trusted, shame full but true.

on another note, i dont mind having black actors or anything like that..it's just weird to see one thing for 30 years(white kingpin) and then all of a sudden, make him black, red, green or whatever...it's weird to think that when DD came out, cuba gooding jr. complained that they wouldnt let him try out for the role of DD, cuz he was "black" but they went with a black kingpin, go figure. however, it is one of the few ben affleck movies that i can watch, even tho' BA is in it...lol....
I think that jackson will make a great fury for any other future avengers flick...still kinda weird that they want to mix in the two different "universes", i guess...i dont know why they want to do that, pick one or the other marvel, we all ready had the ultimates in their own animated flicks, leave the live action stuff for the real marvel characters....or make another ultimate flick that is live action, whos with me on that? maybe they got burned with david hassle-what's his name, playing fury once, that they wanted to go a whole other direction?? lol...
one other thing...and i totally forgot what it was going to be...lol...oh yea, now i know what it was, it's like when they do the tv shows/movies...they change everything around...like the kingpin on the hulk movie or daredevil as well...what do they think when they decide to do things like that?

Cuba would have been much better as terry, sweeny didn't work.
Hollywood trys to be color blind but some times it harms a film not helps.
If the world expects a character to look one way they should make it look that way.
