More than some, not as many as some others- USA, Mexico, Brazil, China, Singapore, Thailand, India, England, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Egypt, Morocco and I leave for Turkey tomorrow

Only ran across one Mego in any of these places (although I haven;t really looked that hard)- found a carded Spiderman in Singapore.

I was born in the Philippines, but have never been back since 1974.

Spain, England, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Holland, Belgium, Vatican City, Mexico, Ethiopia (OK..so we were stuck for a 13-hour and an 8-hour lay-over)...Kenya and Tanzania.

It's about time we return to Kenya for a visit, but now there are five of us and airfare is outrageous...it would probably be $1700 or more per person and we just don't have that kind of money to blow.

For me, it's easier to name the States i've NEVER been to.

        Washington (state)
        Oregon
        Idaho
        Montana
        Iowa
        Hawaii
        Alaska

Once I hit the 7 above, I'll have the whole Union under my belt.

My list is short as well. Walked to Jaurez mexico from El Paso (my wife's family is in El Paso). Short visit.

Visited Canada a few times including a week long bicycle tour of the St Lawrence Seaway.

Spent a summer hitchhiking around France (1993). I went back for 2 weeks in 06.

          I live in the USofA

So a grand total of 4.

I want to go to England next summer.

The beaches are gorgeous there and the sea is crystal clear! That was my first major trip abroad and I loved every minute, the people were fantastic at the beach hotel. I remember relaxing by the pool some nights with a Cuba Libre gazing at the stars, that was an amazing sight. Also buying cigars from the hotel workers, everyone was a mini cigar shop.

When I was in Dominican Republic, I bought a few boxes of Cuban cigars to bring back ...
They were really cheap down there.

At the time it was before 9-11, so was really easy to smuggle them through Newark airport checks.

              Today, forget it ......

Not only do they check your bags (they didn't before) they check your freak'in BODY today ...

I haven't travelled internationally much, there is so much to see here in Australia and the distances are so great that you can fell well travelled without having left the country :-)

I've visited all the Aussie states including Tasmania, they all have something to offer. Internationally I've been to Fiji a few times, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and a couple of others I can't think of right now.

I'm amazed that none of you guys or girls have been to Australia! We talked a few years ago about an Aussie Mego Meet, we should really plan something to give you all an excuse to visit.

I'm planning on getting to the USA next year (My bro lives in New York, and the Aussie Dollar is about to be worth more than the US so it makes financial sense to go soon) and hopefully I'll pop across the pond to the Mother Country (as Australians used to refer to Great Britain) and around the isles.

                          Cheers!

I live in the USA, in Texas which as they say is "like a whole other country"!

I went to Manzanillo, Mexico about 10 years ago. Semi-tropical, mountainous, beautiful beaches.

When I was in high school I went to Europe for 3 weeks. We spent almost a week in Holland (mainly Amsterdam), a week in Germany (mainly Munich, but also Cologne and a picturesque village named Rothenburg), a couple days each in Switzerland (Lucerne: indescribably beautiful), Austria (Salzburg and Vienna), overnight in Belgium, and two days in London, England. The trip still lives in my memory very vividly, though it was 20 years ago. Looking back it felt like we spent three months there because we hardly ever slept and the experience was so robust and colorful.
