Kevin Smith survives massive heart attack

I know he's not a poster boy for fitness but nonetheless, this serves as a reminder we're not kids anymore.

Man, that story scares me completely! I'm glad he's ok, but he's only a year or so older than me and now I'm starting to think maybe I need to do something about my health.
Expectation is the death of discovery.

Wishing him well...and a long life ahead of smiling, love from others, and living life to the fullest.

He has his detractors, but no one can argue that he isn't a kind and sincere human being. Feels horrible to read this about him, and I hope he bounces back with many more years.

You can be overweight but still be relatively healthy if you move your body, like walk, swim, low impact activity, etc.

What I have always noticed about Kevin Smith is that he always sweats a lot, even sitting down and talking. I used to sweat a lot myself...but then I started walking a lot, dropped a few pounds...now I don’t sweat unless doing exercise.

Hope he starts getting physically more active...and yes, ease up on the junk food would help...

                  .
Agreed, my initial comment was me trying to get around his weight being the issue, i know more than one athlete in my life downed by them as well.

Smith had gone through a period of weight loss the last couple of years, dropping sugar and walking more. I guess he still should have had a check up.

Oh wow. That is scary. Nice to here he survived it, and I hope he recovers fully. I'm a bit hot and cold on him, but that has nothing to do with wishing him the best.

Well, the good news, he survived. He’s a cool dude...hope he makes a full recovery.

Now if he only stops wearing hockey jerseys and those stupid long denim shorts...

I read about this earlier today. he is sooooo lucky to be a live. that is the same type of heart attack that killed one of my best friends 2 years ago. still scares the hell out of me. I wish him all the best and I hope that it does give a wake up all to people. the widow maker heart attack is no joking matter
