Yeah! The Museum is back up!

It's going nuts on me. Says I'm logged in,then it goes back to looking like I haven't logged in. The forum colors keep changing every time I go to a different section.

Took me 4 times trying to sign in.

When I sign in it just refreshes the page and i'm still signed out

Late last night it seemed to work fine, on my iphone. However, just now, on PC, it's the same as it's been for a week or so. I haven't tried the site via iphone today.

Days ago when everyone started talking about how slow it was here I didn't have a problem. However all the posts were changed to unread. Starting probably yesterday it started getting real slow. I've had no problems with the avatars. I use an Android phone here. I just turned my phone off and restarted it. At least for the moment I'm not having any problems. Full speed ahead so to speak. I'm not complaining, I posted this in the hopes this info might help figure out what's going on. In fact I truly appreciate the work everyone puts into this site and especially all this extra trying to solve these problems when they come up. My favorite spot on the interwebs.

haven't had any of those issues but I still can't get my avatar to show up. small potatoes. I am able to use the site so far with no issues

I bet - no way I'd want to deal with a site this big, one reason someone like me who knows the headaches behind the scenes truly appreciates the effort.

Another thing I see, I assume backups are being restored as this gets troubleshooting...I see different COTW banners...I've seen the Spiderwoman (who's current I think), Black Canary and the Flagman public domain guy...all in the past 24hrs prolly.
