whatever you've been tweaking Joe, it may be doing some good. The site still lags a little bit for me, but starting last night and this morning, it has been much better. Not as good as it used to be, but I can now at least browse a few threads in five minutes instead of a single thread in six minutes. lol. I got into PMs this am and it was pretty snappy there for me. keep it up man, you're getting there. (lets see what happens when I click the reply button in three...two....one..)
edit...annnnd it lagged. It's like the Post Quick Reply is built to receive & process the new post within a certain amount of seconds. If those seconds aren't met as a prerequisite of a successful post, the forum gets ticked off and a pop up appears asking if you REALLY wanna leave the site. If you click Yes, the page eventually refreshes and your post is actually posted. It's like the whole processing of the site is jacked...it expects to process a certain way by its own coding, yet, it can't for some reason. Almost like this place is serving a thousand users on a Dual Core with 4Gb ram lol. Wordpress is saying, C'mon C'mon...I'm waiting....and the hardware is choking.

This has been going on for me since last Friday, it's been a whole week and nothing's changed, besides the continuous slow
downloading and old posts showing up as new bold posts, it's been asking me to log in over again and taking me to a different home page set up, it's getting irritating.Leave a comment:

Joe - have you tried the following to see if you can reproduce the issue?
> I tried browsing in a Chrome incognito window without signing in and it still is taking around 20 seconds on every click.
Maybe the admins aren't seeing the issue due to their status.Leave a comment:

Just wanted to let you know that I'm also experiencing slow load times intermittently, and when posting a reply I'm getting the popup asking if I want to leave the page. Only when I click to leave is the message posted.Leave a comment:

I tried responding to 2 posts and nothing. It asked me if I wanted to leave the page. Let us know when this gets fixed. Thanks.Leave a comment:

I continue to have very random connections. Just now, I hit reload on my browser and the page pitterally went white and took about 60seconds to even start to populate...then another 30 seconds before I could click on a forum. Came here first and quick and snappy.
edit - until I clicked the Post Quick Reply button ... Site sat and sat, my browser finally gave me a pop-up asking if i really wanted to leave the page. Clicked yes, page went white....and wait. Long pause and it loaded slowly. It's like the server is on a 3G connection.Last edited by noelani72; Mar 30, '17, 6:30 PM.Leave a comment:

Seriously, above I wrote my reply, clicked post, and it posted it almost instantaneously. Maybe the forum is sucking away your speed and giving it all to me?

Also, it's still as slow for me.

Taking around 15 secs for a each forum to resolve for me. But once in the forum, navigating between the threads within the forum seems normal.
Edit to add: I'm also sometimes getting a warning message that I'm leaving the page and will lose data when I submit replies..Last edited by Sideshow Spock; Mar 30, '17, 4:26 PM.Leave a comment:
