I place her right up there with Lucille Ball and the still living Carol Burnett...to me...those three are the Trinity of female TV comedic giants...

Definitely right Hector. She was my first crush, followed shortly thereafter by Diana Rigg. I loved her on both her big shows, but really fell in love with her on Dick Van Dyke. She was a legend.

Still one of my most favorite sitcoms--the precursor to Seinfeld IMO. And The DVDyke show was genius, too. RIP Ms. Moore.

A TV icon and staple, and her MTM Productions produced a lot of the better shows of our childhood as well.

Yes, truly a sad day. I loved her on the Dick Van Dyke show, and I really loved her on the MTM show. And of course all those spin-offs were really great. She was a great role model and a wonderfui comedic actress. RIP Mary. You really will be missed.

Just watched a short retrospective of her career on one of the news channels. She was a remarkable woman and, now that I think about it, probably could have pulled off a helluva good Lois Lane had the opportunity arisen...

MTM was a great show with a great cast, each cast member already was or went on to be popular, and don't forget the spinoff shows Rhoda and Lou Grant. The Dick Van Dyke show was almost like an I Love Lucy spinoff in its self, and like Lucy and Dezi she had her productions too, I was sorrry to hear about her passing, RIP Mary.
