Yes, truly a sad day. I loved her on the Dick Van Dyke show, and I really loved her on the MTM show. And of course all those spin-offs were really great. She was a great role model and a wonderfui comedic actress. RIP Mary. You really will be missed.

Just watched a short retrospective of her career on one of the news channels. She was a remarkable woman and, now that I think about it, probably could have pulled off a helluva good Lois Lane had the opportunity arisen...sigpic Oh then, what's this? MTM was a great show with a great cast, each cast member already was or went on to be popular, and don't forget the spinoff shows Rhoda and Lou Grant. The Dick Van Dyke show was almost like an I Love Lucy spinoff in its self, and like Lucy and Dezi she had her productions too, I was sorrry to hear about her passing, RIP Mary.Comment
