My mom is making macaroni and cheese, pernil, probably rice and beans too. I have to pick up a nice cake or pie.

What you are having is one of my all time favorite dishes, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, yum...love it, love it, ha...

          Beautiful family!

Tamales are often a Mexican Christmas tradition...so we are keeping up with the Joneses, or in this case, the Juanes, lol...

We've done Chinese for years, but I'm not feeling it this year. Dunno what we're going to do. Hec's stuff sounds great - I could handle tamales and apple pie. I'd try some champurrado, too, but it would have to be home made / family recipe stuff.

Nothing to do with your topic, but the first time I read this as "Just reserved two dozen females" and I was like damn Hector, Merry Christmas to you.

FWIW we always do ham, green bean casserole, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, rolls, and cranberry sauce(yech)

Man, you guys are making me HUNGRY!

We do snacky foods on Christmas Eve over at my Dad's house. Cindy and my sister both make tons of fattening fun stuff. Pizza dip, buffalo dip, potato skins, etc.

Then Christmas Day, my cousin has taken over hosting our big get together with the extended family. But Cindy is cooking the turkey this year. We'll also have ham, stuffing, potatoes, mac and cheese, broccoli casserole, etc.

I'll be having Jack Daniels, Jack Daniels and Jack Daniels. I think the wife mentioned something about a turkey.

We usually have the usual turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc. but this year decided to do something different and go with lobster tails, prime rib, escargot and double baked potatoes instead. I'm all for it because I've never been a particularly huge fan of turkey anyway (I like chicken better).

We do Chinese take-out Christmas Eve, and then Christmas Day (or possibly the day after, as my niece is spending the day w/ her grandma), it'll be pork roast, mashed taties and gravy, brussel sprouts, , rolls and cheesecake for dessert.
