OK, it's no secret that I'm not a big fan of modern technology. But I am a big fan of Christmas. I think this commercial (this is the long version) definitely sends the wrong message about family and Christmas:
So the spoiled brats who are doing all that blasted "hashtagging" can't be happy to be spending time w/ their grandparents? They have to be "wired in" every minute? And the grandparents who break down and buy all that stuff are enablers. In my opinion, spending quality time w/ your family shouldn't always include TV, social media and high technology, especially at Christmas. Sometimes is OK. I have to tell you I wince whenever this ad comes on. Yeah, I know it's not that serious, but I just wanted to vent.
