I've been to your neck of the woods during the Summer...I just don't know how you people make it alive every season, seriously...it was 118 degrees one time I stopped by Phoenix (back in 1994)...holy mother of God. Then we drove to El Paso...and it was Winter there in comparison, only 106 degrees, lol...

I work in a kitchen, 90 degree heat outside plus the grill and the steam coming off the dishwasher makes it about a 95-100 degree sauna for the shift...my home office where I do freelance stuff is much cooler and more comfortable, but the kitchen pays the bills for now so I deal with it.

I HATE heat. I have always been comfy wearing shorts and a T when it's 40. Now here I am in the hottest summer Michigan has seen for quite some time and adding insult to injury, this old lady is smack in the middle of menopause and it's accompanying hot flashes. I swear I am ready to fall over dead. Yesterday while out biking, I paid high school car wash fundraiser kids to turn the hose on me. Today I am in my 70 degree living room stewing in my own sweat. I miss winter!

It's pretty bad here in Massachusetts, humidity heat index value at 105 and we need much rain, and a humid rain
doesn't count, warnings on the news for the elderly-children and house pets.

I can deal with heat, but this humidity is down right disgusting, there have been days where the humidity
has been higher than the temp, how do you folks in Florida deal with summer?

We keep it 72 here, it's fine. The stairway into work is 10 degrees hotter than outside, it's sort of like being on Mars.

It's 85 again today in my office plus 72% humidity making it feel like 97.

I swear to god I'm gonna take my pants off under my desk. LOL

Time to find a new job!

Seriously, I don't know how I servived that first decade at that barber shop, in the heat of the summer. It was like 95-100f, hair blowing all over the place with 9 electric fans competing against each other to make a dust devil.

I asked the original owner why he didn't just put a vent fan in. He claimed he wasn't sure that the electrical system could handle it. 9 electric fans said quite a bit different.

During this time, I learned; it wasn't heat, it was the humility.

When I'm inside the clean room it's a constant 72-74 degree with high 30 to 43 humidity. In the warehouse that's another matter. It can be downright awful and triple digit.

Dwayne, isn't that heat bad for the product in which you deal? It's not just uncomfortable, but damaging, isn't it?
