If I had Sausage in a Hotdog roll
I would have a little bit of English Mustard

Chilli, spicy brown mustard, ketchup, diced onions, and pickle relish. At that point, you don't even taste the hot dog.

I like German style dogs with a dark mustard and kraut...never ketchup on the dogs.

              For the dog itself ........

My fav has always been ones we used to get at a local farmers market.

The guy was a Polack and ran a Polish Deli in Jersey City

He'd make the hot dogs right in his shop and bring them to the farmers market every Sunday

They were about a foot and half long but skinny
              the coating was very snappy

I can't believe all the folks putting ketchup on their dogs....

I'm not from anywhere near Chicago, but I'd have to say the Chicago style dog simply rules. AND NO KETCHUP!

Well, if you want to start a Hamburger toppings list, Mayo is #1 add some hot relish and that's it.

My wife also has a family grilling recipe with chicken that is only coated with mayo, salt, pepper, and tarragon and grilled. Sounds gross but is really good. Mayo is basically just egg and oil so all it really does is help keep the chicken from drying out on the barbie.

Mayo, relish, ketchup, cheese and kraut. But not necessarily all at once

I love mayo and put it on most sandwich related items - dogs, burgers, subs, even salad.
