I saw something like that before except it was a box with a button on it.A man delivered the box and told the recipient if he pushed the button he would receive a million dollars but somebody that he did not know would die....Long story short said guy pushes the button man comes back gives him the money and takes back the box,On his way out with the box the new millionaire inquires where he is taking the box???
The box man simply replies "I must give the box to someone else,Someone you don't even know"..... Creepy...
So in answer to the question,Hell no I would not take the money...Cause you never know..

The question is so hypothetical that I don't think I can honestly answer it.

There are too many possibilities.

Maybe his is a horrible person, and is about to go into a school and shoot a bunch of people, or abuse his wife and kids. - Absolutely I would pick it up.

Maybe he is an organ doner and his death would save several people in need of organs or something. - Absolutely I would pick it up.

Maybe he has a family that totally depends on him coming home to take care of them. Absolutely NOT would I pick it up.

If you reduce it to the bare bones of the question. Then I would probably pick it up. Is that selfish or cruel?? It Depends - If you could save several lives based on how you use the money, would that justify the loss of 1 man?? I think many would say yes.

In the magazine, there was a variation of the same question... Same cash filled suitcase, but if you take it an unmarried man who lives on a large English estate will crash his Audi TT while speeding and die, leaving behind 7 mistresses and their assorted toddlers. Now do you take it?

I would,ok one person dies and that sucks,but I just think about how many more I could save with that money,look at all the starving kids that you would be able to save with just $10,000,000
