Drac v Frank was an awesome poster. The VHS case had the same art, IIRC.
Euro impressionistic posters are incredible.
This is Italian. I had it signed by Doug Bradley. I can't remember what he tagged it with, we were talking for awhile. It got damaged in a flood then I sold it, post-kids. Too creepy to have laying around.

Those three are really cool! Definitely products of the days before Photoshop and all the digital canoodling you see on movie posters these days. I've never understood why the overseas markets frequently get WAY cooler posters/marketing for stuff than we get here in the U.S.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
One of my all-time favorite movies and one was recently up on ebay that I missed the end of the auction and missed out on getting a GREAT deal:
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".
But mine is in Spanish, Batman's costume is red, and the 3 pics are the bottom are different.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
I think Black Shield Of Fallworth is credited as Universal-International's first feature in CinemaScope. It's also known for a line that Tony Curtis NEVER says in the film "Yonder lies the castle of my mudder and fodder." I think that this was the critics dig at Curtis being a Brooklyn boy and that he couldn't act. BTW, Janet Leigh....DAMN!!! is all I have to say. Jamie Leigh is her mothers daughter

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
I'm not an uber fan of the film itself, but I think the King Konng 76 poster by John Berkey is one of the greatest movie posters ever. So epic in its exaggeration, and so iconic. I would also take my personal favorite, Creepshow:
Now, if you REALLY want to have fun, Google image search your favorite 80s films, but add "Thai Poster" to your keyword search. The posters from Thailand all worked on the "More is More" principle, and they are Bat **** Crazy!! But they are so wild and full of little vignettes, I just find them much more fun and interesting than their American counterparts.
Check out the wild Jaws posters from Thailand:
Luci Fulci's the Beyond has an awesome Thai poster.
