Tom Hiddleston the next Bond?

Henry Cavill is a great choice...but his Man from UNCLE flick bombed...and is reeling from Batman v Superman...I don't think he'll be in the running...

He may look slight, but since no one will expect a slightly skinnier Bond, he'd be perfect for it.

Instead of a beefcake, we get a long distance runner type.

Pierce Brosnan wasn't all that built when he had the part, and he only stands at maybe 6 feet even.

And if it's bulk people want, he can always bulk up in the gym.

...because they were both rejected for Casino Royale.

Bond is still their favorite character, so I think we're watching a negotiation. Both would be available by MGM's timeframe.

Jackman's also about to become wide open and Danjaq went after him for Casino, but his X-Men contract made it verboten.

So that's where my money lies: Nolan with Bale or Jackman.

Bale would make a more suave Bond, like Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. Jackman would be a tougher looking Bond, following in Sean Connery and Craig's footsteps.

no, I love him as an actor but he is not right for Bond. I would vote for either Tom Hardy or Henry Cavill to take over.

I think Tom Hiddleston is a terrific actor...and he's sought after nowadays.

But he's kinda slight looking...he's sort of too nerdy for Bond to me...like a librarian/bookkeeper...
