Some peeps just don't get it as it pertains to Mego collecting. That of course is a good thing for people/collectors like us who are more than happy and willing to take such "crap" off of their hands for them. I am sure you would agree. You should have asked him if he or anyone he knows had any of these so called dirty rotten disgusting dolls that needs to be gotten rid of. Mego collecting - Hey! It can be a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

Sounds cool. Too bad the toy shopping turned out to be a bomb. Better luck next time.

I wouldn't say that you will never use it. I am sure a visionary such as yourself will eventually find a good use for it. Probally even more sooner than later. I just wish I could find the energy to be as productive AND to do the great custom work that you do. Maybe some day I will atleast get close, but never as accurately detailed as the master herself. Have fun with your new customs. I for one cannot wait to see what you turn out next.

That sounds like a nice weekend indeed. Glad to hear that things are looking up for you as well as the team. Good luck with your future games. Perhaps this will be the new turning point that you have hoped for.

Awesome weekend. Had a BBQ/birthday party for our younger son. Had date night with my wife later that evening (something we do about twice a months).

I don't know why this outing was so perfect, but it was almost like we were dating again... with out a care or responsibility in the world. Everything was perfect, from the time we stepped out of the house until the time we shut our eyes to go to sleep.

The quest for OG parts is underway, so if anybody reads this and has any conan stuff for trade or sale...
That is one cool gf. I am still trying to "train" my gf to find Mego's when we go out to sales and what not. I do not think that she shares the same enthusiasm as I as it pertains to collecting Mego's. I am not giving up hope though. Last weekend I had found something Megoish for customs that is perfect Mego size. The funny thing about it is my gf told me that she actually had it in her hands at one point and then sat it back down thinking that I would not be interested in it. I have my work cut out for me. It is all good and fun though.

That is a hard weekend to beat. You can never go wrong with BBQ. I am glad to hear that Jr's BD party was a success and that you and your wife enjoyed some quality alone time together. May you have many many more enjoyable days to come.

Thanks. We've been together 16 years and they've gone by way too fast.

You are welcome. That is a great accomplishment for you both. You should be proud as I am sure that you both are. Time does have a tendency to be like that as it pertains to going by way too fast. I have been thinking in terms of who will get all of my Mego's and other collectibles. I have been placing a great deal of my collectibles in the attic so when it is my time to go I can take them all with me on "the way up". However, I always have a plan B just in case. So IF my stuff is still up in the attic after I depart (which neither would be a good sign) then I need to have a "b"eneficiary to take over the wealth hence forth my plan "B".

On a more serious note - May you and your beloved wife continue to cherrish the many great years that you have with one another.
