          My kids are really into the Curious George that they just started in the last few years.

          Everyone's list is pretty much mine, too.

              I like Antiques Roadshow and there was a show called Auction Hunt that was produced by BBC but run on PBS that I liked.

              Other than what has already been mentioned, I have enjoyed Ken Burns documentaries of the "Civil War" and "The War" (WWII).

              Also enjoyed Frontier House and there were a couple of other reality shows (forget the names) one where the people had to live in the Middle Ages and another one where a family tried to live in the Victorian period. It always gives a fresh perspective of the things we take for granted like plumbing, clean water, air conditioning, etc.
