Andre the "no stamina slow" Giant would've gotten hurt by every single heavyweight in the UFC.

BTW, those tummy trouble you talk about were Divirticulitis, I should know, because I suffered through it as well, and it nearly killed me in 2004. I have fully recovered, thank goodness. So has Lessnar. Andre on the other hand had Gigantism, a permanent debilitating disease.

The Big Show also beats Andre.

You are forgetting, my dear Sir, Andre was French...

Now what really boggles the mind...in Rocky III, Hogan is a GIANT next to Stallone...yet here they are next to each other, holy crap...how you explain this photo???

Either Hulk Hogan shrank to fantastical proportions...or that Rocky sequence has the best illusions and movie magic ever made...

Hogan was a legit 6'5 -6'6 in his prime. Now he would be 6'2-3 ish due to spinal issues.

Andre even in 87 would make short work of Hogan. A headbutt from him would feel like being hit by a bowling ball. And imagine one punch from these mitts.

I'm sure there are some interviews on how tough he was.

Here is Flair talking about Andre's fight with Blackjack Mulligan.

Andre was not a real fighter. Sure, he was huge and strong...but again, not a real fighter. A pro fighter with real fighting experience, super technical skills, speed, stamina...would trump a huge strong dude with none of the before mentioned attributes.

In a flip a car contest, drinking beer contest, some displays of strength, Andre is up there. But in a real fight, Andre gets overwhelmed, simple as that.

Again, you guys think sheer size is the answer, well, it's not.

Just because Andre had huge hands, he punched hard?

You think Andre's punch would be as devastating as Mike Tyson's? Of course not. Andre's punch would be heavy but slow. Tyson's would be super fast with proper technique, leverage, and snap...it's not even close.

Case in point where experience and technique trumps sheer size and strength.

Games of Thrones' Mountain Man (6' 9", 419 lbs) vs arm wrestling champion Devon Larrat (6' 5", 225 lbs)...

Mountain Man is one of the strongest humans on Earth, but once out of his comfort zone, challenging a person outside his domain, gets easily beat at a sport he's not familiar with. Devon was just toying with him, with either arm too, heck, check the very last sequence, he even gives Mountain Man a super head start, lol.

Same would apply with a pro wrestler fighting a mixed martial arts fighter in a real fight.

Back in the 70's when I was at a track meet I was humiliatedly beaten at shot-put by a girl in my class more than half my size.

Size doesn't matter if your opponent is a little firecracker

                    Exactly.

I'm twice as big as Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm...but either would turn me into a pretzel, and I played high school football and did some freestyle wrestling and boxing...but those two women are pros...I'm just a weekend Joe blow, a journeyman at best...

I doubt Brock Lesner, Nick Diaz or whoever could grab 6'7 Dick Slater and 6'8 Milligan out of a bar and hold them underwater like Flair said Andre did. Hold the L on this one, Hector

You are right on that one, as Andre was physically very strong (and obviously heavy and huge)...same with Slater and Milligan. Both Lessnar and Diaz probably would have drowned, lol. But holding someone underwater is not the same as a full on street fight, two different things, my friend.

I'll give you Andre over Nick Diaz though...Diaz is just waaaaaaaaaaay too small and light for Andre...

But don mclean could have taken lenny

Which in turn don could be taken by mclean Stevenson

Which is no match for a McClean Deluxe with coke
