Looking for some advice. I had my water heater explode a week ago. No injuries, but water everywhere that managed to get into the finished par of our basement, soaking the carpet and ruining it.The insurance company is paying to replace it (small win there) but it means all the furniture has to come out of the space, including my Mego case.
I've never had to pack the whole collection all up before -- who has advice or tips for the best way to put them away until I can set everything up again? I'm boxing up all the books and taking them to a storage facility for a few weeks. The Megos and Micronauts aren't leaving the house, but they'll need to be packed away until all the work downstairs is completed. I want to make sure they're put away right, so I don't have any unpleasant surprises when it's time to put them all back out again It sounds silly, I know, but it's making me anxious having to take them down and put them in a box. So, hoping to benefit from anyone's experience here. Thanks!
