I went to get a ticket the other day and was a bit surprised I was able to get a ticket for Friday. I'm more curious than excited. I hope it's good but after Star Trek Into Darkness I have no faith in Abrams.

Have tickets for an IMAX 3D showing Thursday morning, plus a standard 3D showing later the same day.
Will also see it in 2D at some point over the weekend.

I am curious as to why there are no reviews posted on Rotten Tomatoes as of yet. I wonder if it's embargo or if critics have just decided to hold off until later in the week...

It's worth noting after the premiere last night, Twitter is rocking off it's axis. Abrams hit a grand slam. The crowd was ecstatic. I had complete confidence he could do it. Definitely going this weekend.

Well starting today, I will have to avoid the local cinema which is conveniently located across
the local town mall, which happends to be conveniently located across from my neighborhood
needless to say it's a gosh darn crazy circus out on the main roads, and with highway access
right next to the mall, the off ramp is about a three mile back up all day long with cinema and mall traffic
at least I can walk to both, but of course it has to be raining today with more rain thru the weekend.

I will admit I was surprised in Star Wars today when Chewbacca had a 10-way with nine intergalactic Playboy chicks. And the scene lasting for 45 minutes really did detract from the rest of the storyline.
