Is it Friday yet??!!?? C'Mon...Is it Friday yet??!!?? I wish this was being shown at the Ziegfeld...but it's not. Still going in to NYC to see this movie.
IS IT FRIDAY YET???!!!???
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".
It starts in two days here, still gonna wait ti ll I get to the US for xmas though. Wanna see it at an IMAX theater,as there is no such thing in this backwards dump of a country. lol. Still looking forward to seeing it,and I'll read ALL the spoliers tomorrow, but the hypetrain kinda left me at the station before it reached it's destination. I just got off and waved goodbye to the rest of the people and wished them luck on their journey. There's been sooooo much talk about this movie I just got bored with it all. And I still have 1999 fresh in my memory banks,so no expectations whatsoever. If it's good, great for me. If it's not good, great for me too. Don't care, not bothered how it turns out. I am of course hoping it's better than Episode I,lol!
Here's the question... Who is going to read the spoilers once the reviews hit? I'm sure there will be forums where people spill the beans on the story. Anyone going to read the spoilers first or are you going to let the film unfold with no knowledge? I'm going to wait and let the movie unfold it for me. I'm looking forward to this. And honestly allot of it has to do with the fact Lucas is NOT a part of it anymore. If this had been another Lucas production, I'm not sure I would have even been interested. But now that we have a great director in the chair, I think we're finally going to get back to something more suspenseful and emotional like Empire.
I just checked the closest theater to me (Stonybrook Showcase Cinemas) and they already have 8 shows sold out just for the Thursday night screens alone. Gosh almighty this is going to be big.
I'm hoping to avoid spoiler headlines like "Luke is evil" or "solo dies" or any other of those rumours because I really want to know as little as possible walking in.
If I succeed then I'll not just watch it, I will experience it. I suspect social media will be all over the spoilers starting Thursday if not sooner.
