The Banana Split containers from Dairy Queen always got reused as boats for bathtub play!

I used to collect mom's discarded laundry and bathroom containers. Stuff like empty bottles of Clorox, PineSol, detergent, softener, etc. Then I'd fill them up with water and different Kool-Aid flavors...and pretent to be a mad chemist of some sorts, lol. This was in Mexico...and dry ice was easily attainable down there. Kids would go to the ice place...and discarded dry ice would be set aside for practically anyone to just pick up and take home. I'd take a bucket...and would bring quite a bit of dry ice home...crush it...and place it inside the containers full of different colored Kool-Aid...it was actually visually realistic, a couple of my friends would join...we were all mad scientists...it was tons of fun...ah, the good old days of the unregulated 70s...kids today just have no idea...
