Black Friday, you in ?

Who's going to be part of the crowd this year. I see where stores will start opening up at 5 Thursday night, but other places have had sales going since Monday. I haven't seen anything advertised yet that will get me to join in this year. I do hope that Entertainment Earth will come through with some good deals.

That's the Pre-Black Friday, there will be a different Black Friday sale. I have no insight but we may be getting a promo code.

I used to like the adventure, now I prefer to type my CC info vs. turning the ignition. I was scoping DVDs at Target today, and geez I think I own everything I'd ever watch more than once.

They're trying to bring it here but seeing as we don't have Thanksgiving, it's a little tough. Also, the deals are kind of simulated, I'll just be going to work ....

I generally do not go shopping but I want to get a good deal on an xbox one for my son for Christmas so depending on who has a really good price, I will probably venture out for that. I refuse to go out on Thanksgiving though. it is just plain wrong to make people work on that day. it's a national holiday and people should be with their families

Nope, my mom would drag me out for Black Fridays when I was a teenager and I swore an oath to myself I would never partake as an adult...it has been over 24 years since I was foolish enough to venture out on a BF.

Actually, there are already a lot of good deals on line. Target had TV series for $5, plus 40% off sweaters & sleepwear. Sears gave me $17 of free rewards points for no apparent reason, so I bought an Arrow flannel shirt for $1.29.
