I'll gladly trade you a Hardees for a White Castle none of the bozos down here know what they are missing
Actually, White Castles aren't all they're cracked up to be,
They're mostly bun --- and give EVERYONE killer heartburn.
They're actually lousy .......
Add a foreigner who never bathes (most Castle workers around here) and you have the making's for a pretty nasty burger.
The place smells like sweat .... and the burgers taste like sweat and onions

that's why i like Checkers, everything is freshly made right then and there in a clean place,if you stick you get sent home
While visiting my son at college they brought us to Red Robin. Gourmet Burgers. I would start to taste them as we would be driving there. Now we have one about 20 minutes away and they really are awesome. Two favorites are the Banzai which is a teriyaki style served with a grilled pineapple slice on it. Messy but simply awesome, and the Whisky River which is very much like the Jack Daniels burger Hard Rock Cafe used to serve. Again messy but tasty. They also offer some chicken options and wraps. You can get the WR in a pulled pork too. Hard Rock had something like that also. Best thing is the steak fries are bottomless. Just keep asking and they just keep bringing em. Basket after basket after basket. Doesn't have as much impact since my surgery but man I was good for 3 or 4 baskets before. If you have the chance I suggest Red Robin for a great burger at an affordable price.
You can certainly order fresh onions instead of grilled onions as well.
I didn't know that was an option at the time. They ask do you want Onions? I say sure! They didn't tell me they were gonna saute them! YUCK! I know, it's silly but I hate cooked onions. I just didn't get what all the fuss was about. Give me my Wendy's #2 Double any day! Oh and we don't have Nation's here in Sonoma County, so I know nothing about that one.

They may be owned by the same people but they do have different Menus. I have eaten at both. I would much prefer the Hardees menu to the Carl's Jr. one. Plus I really really hate the Carl's Jr commercials. For those of you who don't know what that experience is like, let me explain.
Carl's Jr. has a slogin "don't bother me, I'm eating". They take some hot young brooding model (either male or female) and they have them sit there and eat one of their burgers in some "typical" setting (the recent one is a young female truck driver with her booted feet up on the dash)...no problem so far...but what they do is turn the microphone up so loud that all you hear is those disgusting "pig grunt" chewing and slobbering noises of a person going to town on their burger. It's disgusting! Why not just have them eat it from a dog bowl off the floor.

Nation's are huge and super tasty, I love them.
But I go to In N' Out more because it's a healthier burger.
The filmmaker who made the documentary Super Sized Me, highly recommends In N' Out over any other burger chain.
Has anybody had Ruby Tuesday's Ultimate Colossal Burger?
Ultimate COLOSSAL BURGER®*
Two half pound burgers on a triple-decker bun with American and Monterey Jack cheeses! Update, found out the nutritional value of this monster, i ain't getting this again =P: The "two half-pound burgers on a triple-decker bun with American and Monterey Jack cheeses" was previously listed as 1,781 calories, 126 grams of fat, 76 grams of net carbs, and 3 grams of fiber.
After reading this thread most of the day, let it be known that at 9:05 PM this evening I finally caved and went to Burger King for my first meal of the day. Double Whopper with cheese & bacon! I blame the Mego Community!

Sorry to hear that, The one i useto go to on the Blackhorse pike on the way to Wildwood NJ had great burgers but this was back in the summer of 86
In n' Out burger is the best chain fast food burger hands down. Nothing even compares.
Agreed.
I have a lot of respect for that company...it offers healthier burgers, the freshest ingredients, and most importantly, they treat their employees like human beings, great benefits and salaries...and it shows by the clean environment and super friendly service.
of the 2 ,I would always go with Burger King...not that I do much these days...but I really hate Macdonalds or carpet burgers ....Big mac...ha!!!would need at least 3 to quell my mighty hunger...they are so small.
Given the choice I would always go for a halfpounder or two from Wimpys...not that there are any around much these days.
Home made are the best though.........mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF IT British by birth....English by the grace of God. Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....
...and I don't know why McDonald fans keep mentioning the Big Mac...it's nothing but bread, shredded lettuce, and that awful Thousand Island sauce...if I go to McDonalds (which is rare)...I'd rather get the Double-Quarter Pounder with cheese...it's a meatier burger....and it doesn't have that sauce that I hate on the Big Mac.
