Speaking of changing the formula......
Anyone ever had Wendy's fries lately ?
I got them about 2 weeks ago....
They were REALLY bitter and had a bad after-taste.
I took them back the next day and complained to the manager......
Manager happily gave me my money back and said ---- EVERYBODY HATES OUR NEW FRIES... I HAVE NO IDEA WHY WENDY'S CHANGED THE OIL ... He also said, THESE NEW FRIES ARE NASTY AND YOU WOULDN'T CATCH ME EATING THEM--- EVEN FOR FREE.
If their own manager would say that, something is wrong.

Yeah, I like Mickey D's and Burger King. I like Burger King better. I used to like McD's fries, before BK changed the formula.Leave a comment:

I used to like Rally's
I had them when I was in Ohio
When you order a burger and fries, they gave you like 10 billion fries

I have yet to try Whataburger although my Aunt from Texas constantly talks about them when she visits here in the Midwest. When she is here we eat at Steak n Shake because she loves her steakburgers. I am planning another trip to Texas in the future. I am definitely going to make it a point to check out Whataburger to see what all of the buzz is about.Leave a comment:

I have not ate at McD's or Murder King in ages. I am trying my best to eat fairly healthy these days. If that is even really possible as it seems that NOTHING is good for you these days. Anyway, I used to eat at those fast fraud (food) restaraunts once upon a time when I was a young punk.
IF I had to choose one to eat at these days I guess it would be Murder(Burger King) because as I remember the Whoppers were pretty good and the best part was they were flame broiled unlike the big(mac)mess or big and (tasty)nasty at McD's. I am a steak and potato type of guy although I do still and always have loved Pizza. Fortel's Pizza Den here in the Midwest is awesome, next to Pizza Hut which is still my favorite since I grew up eating it as a kid. There are other great Pizza places here as well, but I will not go there with that topic right now.
As it pertains to fast food I like Arby's roast beefs every once in a great while for something different. Steak n Shake for great steak burgers and awesome shakes. Milk Donald's shakes are like trying to drink whipped air or whipped cream unless they have changed in the recent years. Hardees egg biscuits for breakfast is a fav. of mine. The gf and I like O'Charley's as a casual place to dine. We used to do the Apple Bee's thing until they went down hill around here. Anyway, I could go on and on about great places here in the midwest as well as Phoenix, but I will spare you all for now. I did not even get into the really nice places that my gf and I like to dine. Enough for now as I am getting hungry just thinking/typing about food.

Oh yeah, Carl's Jr's burgers are just OK, nothing amazing, but again I dig their sides. They are the only fast food burger joint that I know of that offers fried zucchini. I've been eatin' that stuff since I was a kid. I love it!Leave a comment:

Totally. Years ago once when I was eating there I noticed how efficiently and enthusiastically the employees were working. I asked a friend "What's up with the employees here? They act like they CARE". He then clued me in on how they pay their employees well and treat them with respect and even offer things like, gasp!, health insurance. It's the exact opposite of the model that other fast food restaurants use where the employees are treated as if they are stupid and completely expendable and of course offered really low wages.
In n' Out rules. Their fries are unusual (cut from fresh potatoes not from a bag!). But it's all part of the experience. Their burgers are undeniable. I'm a double double man. I also love their simple menu. Just burgers, fries and shakes. No BS.
I also love their simple menu...the only extra you can request aside from the couple of burger choices is the "animal" style burgers...the one with grilled onions...I know grayhank hates them...but I personally loved grilled onions on my burgers, lol. Oh, and that milk-shake is to die for, great-tasting, it's like pure ice cream, yum. The fries are probably my least favorite item there, but it's ok, at least they are natural and from real potatoes, lol.Leave a comment:

To me McDONALDS is the most over rated burger joint out there and serves the worst tasting burgers out there
