Now having typed that disclaimer as I do not want to upset anyone here in any way regarding the prosperity of others or the talk of money. I just wanted to share with others here that have posted their recent success and or wins here in the forum that I to have had a recent win/success story. For those of you that may find this thread interesting I have just won the lottery again for the second time. I purchased the winning ticket on April 2 as my body guard in the picture shows the actual winning ticket. I did not check the numbers until about a week or so later. I am real bad about buying up a bunch of tickets and not checking the numbers on them for a while. Don't ask me why as that is just how I roll. The story is my gf and I stopped at a convenience store and I had her go in and check the little bag of tickets that I had been saving up. She went in and after some little while (I did not think she was coming back out type of a wait) I actually just figured that she was buying some more scratchers again. She is a scratch a holic. Anywho.... She finally appears at the door and exits the convenience store with a big smile and she is excitedly holding two thumbs up at me. I am one to never get real excited over much of anything so I just chilled in the car waiting for her to get back in and tell me what is up. She gets in and proceeds to tell me that WE won on the lottery. (I just love it when people start talking FRENCH all of a sudden) WE WE hahaha
Being that the amount was more than the convenience store was prepared to pay out we had to go to the official lottery office to claim our prize. Hey!?!?! What every happened to the convenience in convenience store anyway?? After filling out a couple of forms we urr umm I mean I was presented with the lottery check. I bet you all can never guess what I am going to be buying with the winnings? That's right folks! MORE MEGO's and EMCE's!!!!!!! What else of course? And YES I am taking care of the gf too. Don't worry guys and gals she will share right along in the prosperity with me. Although she will be cutting in a little bit on my Mego portion though. hahahaha

Awesome! It looks like you just missed the big one. Had an aunt that missed the big megabucks pot here in Mass by one a few years back. It was like 55 million. Better to win something than nothing. Keep up the good work.

Ok guys and gals, Here is the moment that most of you have been waiting for. With so many asking the big question how much did I win here is the answer....First, I need a drum roll please..... ....... tish! (hitting the cymbal)












The answer is Miquet is correct. Give this member a prize!! I did not answer all of the replies right away as I was letting the suspense build up and to I wanted to see if anyone was actually paying any attention to the numbers on the ticket. I was awaiting for someone to jump in and check it out and Miquet being the saavy member did it. The amount that I won on the 5 numbers was $771. Missouri took out $30.84 in state taxes leaving the final amount to be $740.16 total. Wooo Hooo!!! I just do not know what I will do with all of this money. It is true that I have hit the lottery multiple times. It has also said that the money will/can last for a life time. That is of course providing that I never spend any of it. hahahaha It is true that I won this prize by having five numbers now making for the second time. They say that third time is charm. We will see. The first time was last month or so. I have the actual scan of that ticket here as well somewhere. I purchased a new computer a while ago and everything is spread out across like three PC's and a lap top right now. I plan on getting everything transferred back over into one PC again some day. That is a different story for now though. The first five numbers that I hit last month I had won like $500 and some change. It was a smaller jackpot due to more people winning on the same numbers. Again, I missed out by one stinking number. I was actually able to cash that small prize out at the convenience store. This time around being that the prize was more than $600.00 which is what more than the retailers in MO are allowed to pay out. I had to end up going to the official Missouri lottery office. I know it sounds like a big deal. The official Missouri lottery office. ewwwww!! Anyway, I am not bragging as you can see it is not bragging when one actually delivers the proof in the pudding. I was one of 17 people to win said prize by matching 5 numbers. I just wanted to share my story with those that were interested and have a little fun all at the same time. BTW - I had won a couple of hundred dollars and some change on some scratchers last week. Still not bragging. I will post the pictures for the proof of those as well just as soon as I upload the pictures to my photo bucket account. I read some of the stories here at The Museum regarding others and their lotto winnings and I thought what the heck I will throw my wins into the ring as well. Congrats to all of those that have won so far and good luck to everyone that plays. I to have been skeptical at times off and on regarding the lotto. I guess it is just our human nature to be skeptical until it actually happens to one of us for real. I am a believer now. If it can happen to me and 16 other people the chances are great that it can happen to you some day as well. Have a great week everyone, What is left of it.

p.s. I almost forgot to mention that this time around I was only ONE digit, not one number, but one digit mind you from winning the 1.5 million. That would have been cool. Now all I have is the picture and this fun story to tell. Ohh yeah and 740 bucks and some change. Strike up the band!!
