Frankenberry vs. Froot Loops vs Fruity Pebbles

I absolutely love Frankenberry. But it could be because it's only a seasonal item. True, it's formula has certainly been messed with since the 70's, but there's nothing else like it when it's out. It's not uncommon for us to consume four or five boxes of it while it's out. The kid in me still enjoys looking at the artwork when they don't get too conceptual with it. I like the original depictions. -
What kid did not like marshmallows in their cereal? Also the art work that screams 1970's was so cool, not to mention the commercials during Saturday morning cartoons.Leave a comment:

I'm mostly a Cheerios guy, especially since I changed my diet. Bet EVERY now and then I grab a box of Fruit Loops. Dry Fruit Loops are good to munch on too.Leave a comment:

Fruity Pebbles, but they've been putting too many green pebbles in there lately I thinkLeave a comment:

As a kid, we weren't allowed to have sugar cereal. So, I never had a chance to try the Frankenberry. Later on, during my dorm life in high school and college, I had Froot Loops and Fruity Pebbles. The Fruity Pebbles tasted better, but they broke down really quickly into a soggy mess. Froot Loops held their texture, but scratched the roof of your mouth.
For me, I'd rank them: Fruity Pebbles > Froot Loops > FrankenberryLeave a comment:

I loved the Monster cereals as a kid, all of them.
But yeah, they've definitely changed the formula these days. They just don't taste the same.Leave a comment:

Fruit Loops followed by Trix, which I haven't had in a few years. Those brand name cereals are just SO expensive! And I don't care what anyone says, they must have changed the formula somewhere! It just doesn't taste as good as it did when we were kids.Leave a comment:
