Yeah, that was mentioned in an article in the newspaper a couple days ago... But, despite the lower ratings for this latest one, there "is" going to be another...Comment

Never been a fan of these movies nor really understood their popularity. The treatment is even creeping into what was once a more scientific and thoughtful review of sharks on the Discovery Channel during shark week. Call me crazy, but I definitely think the people who produce the ghost hunter shows are starting to produce these as well. When you hear them start saying " What was that?" I just roll my eyes back.Comment

I'm not a fan of those movies. At this point I don't even check that channel for anything to watch. I miss the old format.

I have zero interest in these movies. That being said, there must be many people who have great interest in them. There wouldn't be a Sharknado 3, if not. In fact, I believe that some of my Facebook friends talk about it, lovingly, on there.
- IanRampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?Comment

If there's any bit of good that comes from these movies is they give out-of-work actors a way to make some honest money.
I turned one of them Shark movies on for a few minutes and Ernest Thomas (Roger from What's Happening) was one of the starsComment

Yes, yes, yes... Someone comes up with a channel that actually has content that people want to watch, it gets popular and either the thing gets bought up or the powers-that-be think they can reach a bigger audience by changing the format. After they ruin their own channel, someone comes along again and does what they used to do so well. MeTV is what TVLand used to be, RFD is what TNN used to be, etc...Comment

Only have interest in the Sharknado movies when it comes to SyFy's current programming. Have to admit that I'm looking forward to Sharknado 4.Comment
