My choice would be to just go and check.
As it might be one of my kids going to the toilet.

My buddy's old man use to have a really sweet Lugar collection...
He also had a couple WW1 Colts

When the old man was at work, we used to sneak in his stash and shoot snapping turtles in his pond

        Man, I miss those days

Funny story, my mom is british and my cousin and his wife are both plain clothes type cops in London. They came to vist us and I showed then the weapons. They had never seen guns like these in person and loved it.

I hand my cousin the british detective a 9mm with no clip and cleared. He's fondling like a RC batman. The I say to him "feel the diff in weight with the clip in" I insert a full clip for him, but don't chamber a round.

So the whole familys talking and hes still handling the pistol, then all of a sudden he points and my big screen and pulls the trigger. Well I gasped but held my tongue because I knew I hadn't chambered a round and didn't want to embarrass him. A few mins later he turns to white as a sheet and says bloody hell I forgot you put the clip in, I could of shot your T.V, why didn't it go off.

Well I had a laugh with him, but I would be dead worried if these guys were supposed to be protecting me over there.

Zemo, that street sweeper is awesome, looks like fun to shoot. It reminds me of the Spaz my roommate owned. The idiot pawned it a couple years ago for $100 and never got it out of pawn. I would have given him 3x that much for that thing.

Good story!! I am very comfortable around guns, but to this day, if I am handling a gun that I never seen before, I treat it like a ticking timebomb.

Bet the turtle don't. "Donatello duck the kids back"!

I was on the high school and college rifle teams. The only gun I owned was a 22 rifle.

The only thing I shot was a paper target.

Funny thing about that, I feel the same way. Shot .50 caliber MG, live LAW rocket rounds, M203 grenade launchers, even a simulator from a TOW. The old squirrel-hunting 22 or 20 gage shotgun can't compare. Don't do any hunting anymore.

My son wants a BB gun or paintball gun, but I think he might put shoot his eye out.

When it comes to guns I'm with Bill Hicks.

Having said that I did empty a 44 Magnum on a firing range a few years ago on a Buck's Party, and it was fun as hell.

I really love a Thompson M-1928A1 or M1A1 submachine gun (both are WWII era weapons).

Honestly, I love guns. I'm not sure why, though. I don't care for hunting, but I love to shoot targets (at home or on the range).

I live in NYC now, but when we visit Indiana (on my parents farm), I am outside shooting much of the time.

Ok, I own four guns. I've neber been really excited by guns, but thy do tend to get addictive.
                              I own
Sig Saur P220 .45 cal Blue
Sig Saur P220 .45 cal Stainless
                              Sig saur P239 9mm Blue

and my grandfathers .22 rifle with scope.

I would love to live in a society like England where there are no guns, but I don't . I went to a gun show with my dad just to see what was out there. It scared the crap out of me. Everyone was walking out with a gun in each hand, assault rifles and hand guns. With that many guns out there, I feel like I should be carrying mine everywhere with me.

I'm required to always be armed and I hate it. Not a fan of carrying a gun to a family picinic, or amusement park. Its not all its cracked up to be, bt I can't imagine not owning a gun in this day and age.
