In Honor of Charlton, What Guns do you own (don't get political!!)

I was wondering if there are any gun collectors or hunters here? What kind of guns do you own?

I have never been a hunter (even though I grew up in south Louisiana). I enjoyed fishing when I was younger.

I do not own any guns, but I have owned a few in the past. Guns have never really done anything for me. I guess the military broke me of this, after firing some awesome weapons in full automatic, hand guns and semi automatics just don't do it for me.

I would love to fire a Desert Eagle .50 cal or the RoboCop TEC-9 auto pistol.

Like I said in the title, i don't want this to get political, but don't people hunt in the UK?

I think it's against the law now, but how can you arrest Royalty.

2 BB guns

But those days are long gone.

So, there is no sport hunting like quail, deer, pheasant, or what ever in the UK? The hunt you are talking about above is fox hunting. I knew they outlawed that due to the cruelity of the sport. It is kind of the UK's version of dog fighting or cockfighting.

The coolest gun (non-military) I ever fired was my old roommate's Spaz-12 gauge. It is an Italian made shotgun with folding stock and pistol grip. He bought it from Italy, so there was no plug, allowing it to hold the max shells. It carried 6 and one in chamber. You could fire it in "pump" mode or push a button and move the pump forward, making it a semi-auto shotgun. It was a blast to shoot (no pun intended)

I think there is some kinda of Bird hunting in England but I'm not really
friends with Royalty and the type who shoot.
I've never had a gun, never shot a gun and hope I never have to.
I did own a spud gun, and a water pistol.
It's just not really acceptable over here.
When I think about hunters and my next thought is
"Can you squeal like a pig boy" ?

She had a rabid skunk over there terrorizing her cats..
Asked me if i'd put it down...
The thing came after me...
I shot it while on the run

In this month's (or last month's) issue of Maxim magazine, they interview Burt Reynolds and ask him about this scene. The director didn't know exactly how to shoot the scene, so he just told the actor who played the hick, "Have you way with him, scare the crap out of Ned." The whole scene was basically impromptu.

Other than the hicks you talk about going out in the woods to shoot anything that moves, hunting is actually a VERY expensive sport. I know people who spend $1000's every year on equipment, club dues, dog training for ducks, etc. It is not a sport for the poor.
