I used to have an '81 DeLorean, but the ex kept it. She traded it in on a stupid Jeep Cherokee-which the guy she left me for wrecked when driving drunk. (He didn't hurt anyone, thankfully, just the Jeep. ha, hah...) That car was always neat to drive, not many of them are on the road-so it got lotsa looks. I have a pic somewhere of it, but my scanner is broken and I haven't replaced it yet.

My 1966 Dodge Dart GT. Had a 273 cid V8. Jacked up the back with Gabriel air shocks, had the factory 13 inch wheels on front, with 14 inch Crager "Mags," out back for the cool staggered look!, Had CherryBomb glasspack's on her, loud as hell! No power steering, non-powered four wheel drum brakes. Didn't handle or stop well, but was real fast! Loved that car but alas she succumb to the rust monster!

    Its Gotta be the stang

My 68 mustang has been around almost as long as my wife. I picked it up right out of high school for 800.00. It was actually my second car, the first being a 74 mustang II Ghia. (I wish I still had that car.)

It has a new ROUCHE crate motor. New paint and body work, all new interior.

Its HOT. My kids love it and I can't wait to show it off this year.

I have never owned a "cool" car.

My first car (it really wasn't mine) was a late '70's Nova which I had to share with my brother and was a hand me down.

I have not owned many cars. I married my wife when I was 23, and I always drove her hand me down while she drove the new car so my cars include a

1984 Honda Civic Hatchback (really nice reliable car but looks like the car those guys are driving on Free Credit Report commercial)
1992 Toyota Celica.....it was only an ST....blah, wife hand me down.
1996 Mazda 626 (worst car I ever owned....I think I could have purchased a new car with as much money as I spent on repairs)

So I guess my current car is the best which is a 2003 Toyota Highlander 4WD V6. First car I have ever owned brand new. Again, I realize it doesn't have complete cool factor but at least having a quasi SUV feels good and because it is built on a Camry platform it is a more comfortable ride than a 4 Runner in my opinion (which rides more like a truck).

I have had no problems in any snow conditions so far.

    My favorite car...

A 1980 Subaru DL Hatchback 4speed...cool it was not...

I was yellow with a red door...had more rust spots and holes then paint left...craked windshield...the shcoks were replaced with steel rods so it rode like a tractor...2nd gear was gone...had to be coast started...

Looked horrible...we called it the bumblenad

Had a top speed of around 40 mph...but it would do 40 anywhere...I live in WV so it could pretty fun driving past these huge redneck trucks with the raised suspension and huge tires who were stuck in the mud

    It's a Tossup

I haven't really owned any "cool" cars. When I was younger, I inherited used cars from my grandparents when they upgraded. Still, I'd probably have to go with a 1979 Chevy Malibu Classic. 2-door with a V8 engine. It was a boat, but it still had some serious giddy-up. When my grandmother died in 1992, we inherited her 1973 Chevy Nova. In the 90's, not so cool. Today? Man, I'd love to still have that car. My sister drove it into the ground while I was away at school and we had to get rid of it.

Although, I have to admit, I'm really digging my 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5. I bought it about 3 years ago with only 48K miles on it. Since I only have a 2 mile commute to work, gas prices haven't killed me. That thing has great clearance and can handle off-roading pretty well. I take it camping a couple of times per year and I've been able to go just about anywhere in it.
