Pretty much a Kool-Aid/Wyler's kid with Tang orange as a breakfast staple. Hawaiian Punch was a rarity. My preschool provided us with Hi-C at lunch and snack time so that was the extent of my experience with Hi-C.Comment

We did Funny Face too, I remember sending for the plastic cups , there's still a beat up lemon guy one in my moms cupboard!
Once we took a trip to Sea a World in Ohio and I remember that Hawaiian punch was the beverage that they sold everywhere. It was really hot, and we were drinking HP, but it never seemed to quench your thirst, it just made you thirstier. As soon as we left we stopped for supper and everyone was drinking water, the waitress finally brought a pitcher over and left it ! I've never really liked or drank much Hawaiian Punch since then.
Do they still advertise with Punchy? In this era of non bullying I guess he'd be a liability to the brand.Comment

Sugar stuff was pretty much forbidden at my house, outside of desserts. Sometimes, we'd have Wylers or Kool Aid, but we never had Hi C or Hawaiian Punch unless it was for a party or something. Even then, Hawaiian Punch was the clear winner. Once I got a bit older and got jobs mowing lawns and stuff, I'd use some of the cash for a nice cold can of Hawaiian Punch. Loved it.Comment
