I'm there...online. Couldn't pay to go to a store. Freeze your A** off for hours to save $150 on a TV? I' gladly pay full price on a regular day or better yet find the best price when I'm ready. Not only that I don't just hate crowrds, I really, really hate them. To the point where if I have to play human bumper cars I need to leave because I get angered to the point of wanting to throw elbows and punches.

Unfortunately I have no choice but to be at a mall as I work there I will be from 9:00 pm thanksgiving night until 9:30 am Black Friday morning. The best part is I can not park at the mall or I can be towed because the mall has off site parking for employees on major holidays so I will be getting dropped off and picked up not to mention dealing with the crazy foreigners that frequent this place on a regular basis.Looking for Mego Thor Helmet and Hammer.
Mego 12 inch Captain America shield
Flash Gordon Megos
Mego Joker original shoes
Cast-A-way toys Phantom
Remco Frankenstein boots
Mego Isis Sandals

I'm in, but only online. I'll be up at midnight tonight refreshing bfads.net to see when stores take their sales live online. My only real target this year is a $3.99 copy of The Lego Movie on Blu-ray.
I have to admit that I enjoy going out on Black Friday to gawk at all the shoppers, but only off-peak. I do most of my Christmas shopping online, so there's no pressure on me to buy anything or stand in long lines to pay for the couple things I might find.Comment

Over it. I do the majority of my shopping online. The only gifts I go into a store for are the liquor gift box sets and I buy those a week or two before Xmas. This year I will be spending my Black Friday with a needle, thread and the cut patterns of the clothes I have to sew for the customs I am working onComment

I don't do it, but I have some interesting memories from when I was in retail and had to work it. Shifts go by in a flash, and the craziness could get downright hilarious. The TV deals, at least at Best Buy, are exactly what you hear. They were models that we never carried any other time, and some of them even came in pink boxes.
My favorite memory was finding a couple of the dirt cheap DVD titles that someone had left away from the sale bin. I picked them up and tossed them in, and five people pounced simultaneously.

I'm going to be around 70,000 fanatics, but not in a mall. Going to the Arkansas-Missouri football game.
Other than groceries, I'm pretty much an online shopper. I can't remember the last time I've been to a mall, but to each his own.Comment

Way over it. I never braved the stores on Black Friday, I hate crowds, but I used to go nuts buying DVDs and Blu-rays on Amazon during Black Friday week. But now since I don't buy nearly as much physical media as I used to (I no longer feel the need to own everything I want to watch), paired with Amazon's rather pathetic sales selection this BF, I'm sitting it out completely for once. Feels liberating!Comment

I've never really done Black Friday. I don't like crowds and standing in checkout lines for hours is not my idea of fun.You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

I hate crowds more than I like a great deal, so Black Friday has never appealed to me. Plus I like to sleep in during my holidays!Comment

I prefer to shop on what I call "White Wednesday" (patent pending.) In case you're interested, you just missed it. But don't worry, in just 364 days, you can participate in this little known life hack. Pick a store and go there the night before Thanksgiving. There's no one shopping. You have the entire store to yourself. Buy what you like and if it happens to go on sale the week of Black Friday, bring the store receipt in and most places adjust the price for you. Word is born!"Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you."Comment
