Replies to museum members PMs

Well..., If someone doesn't want to repliy back to you,.. that means the Conversation is done, & they want nothing more to do with you. ... At least thats what I always think when it's happened to me.... but sometimes it's like 4 days before you get a repliy,... & then with me,.. I get confused to what we were even talking about.

I regret to hear of your bad experiences. I have yet to have that problem myself so far with anyone here. IF anyone out there has happened to ever send me a PM and for whatever reasons you did not receive a reply from me the chances are great that I never received your original message to begin with. I make it a point to reply to ALL of my PM's. I would not be a very happy camper to not receive a reply from someone that I PM'd. I always like to treat people the way that I like to be treated. I would atleast give a second chance PM in the event the first one never made it. If one does not receive a timely answer from your PM after the second attempt then the chances are great that perhaps the member is trying to avoid you for whatever reasonings. Not a good way to go about IMO. So far I have received prompt friendy replies from everyone I have sent PM's to here at The Museum. Hopefully with you bringing this issue to light perhaps your message will be well received and understood by those that do not reply to you if that happens to be the case.

I have never seen this problem either. I have seen where it took a few days for them to get back with me, but they may not be "computer potatos" like some of us.

I honestly don't have that problem,they always answer mine and I always answer theirs

I'm not sure if this is the place to place this question or not, so moderators, feel free to move it if you think it belongs in a different catagory.

I just wanted to vent at the amount of people that don't have the decency to ever reply to the PM(s) you may send them. It could be offering to sell them something, or you may be PMing them about an item they're selling, and in either case you get nothing at all. Not a "No thanks, I'm not interested/I no longer need that item, thank you." or "Sorry, that item has been sold", etc.

How do you other people feel about the lack of returned PMs? Personally, it pi**es me off. And, I just get the feeling that a lot of those same people that do not reply to PMs have hissy fits when their's aren't replied to.
